Evan DeLaney posted Looking for a mentor

I was curious to know if anyone would want to mentor an ambitious iOS n00b. I was inspired and humbled by the great minds I met over the weekend, and in leaving the conference realized that my own path has only just begun. I'd love getting together with someone interested in illuminating a new enteurpeneur's path to interdependence.

I'll be covering the conference this week looking for interesting stories about new and unique iPad/iPhone apps. Drop me a note - bill.french@ipadcto.com if you have something to pitch. Bill French, Sr Editor iPadCTO & iPhoneCTO

Chris Adamson posted Travel to Club Quarters

I've never been to Philly, but it certainly looks like you can take a SEPTA train from the airport to the "Suburban Station" and be like a block away from the official conference hotel, Club Quarters. Any locals care to confirm or refute this cheapskate's plan?

Barbara Gavin: I may not be a local, but I did this trip in just this way when I did my site visit last spring. SEPTA has lots of bits and pieces; here we are talking about SEPTA's Regional Rail. Here is a link to the Airport train schedule. http://www.septa.org/sc... [read more]
Barbara Gavin: Looks like the fare from the Airport is $7 during the day and $6 off peak. There is some sort of discount (like $0.75) if you can buy a ticket at the station (as opposed to from a conductor), but not all the airport stations have a ticket office. Lin... [read more]
Chris Adamson: Thanks for the schedule, Barbara. Convenient that it hits each of the airport terminals, then about 30 minutes out to Suburban Station.
